TOWN PLANNING.
EXHIBITS IN CHRISTCHURCH. The exhibits shown at the Town Planning Conference in Wellington arrived in Christchurch this morning, and the exhibition will be opened by the Mayor in the Art Gallery at 10 a.m. on Monday. It will be open to tho public free every day from 10 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. until Wednesday. All school children, teachers, members of societies and organisations and of borough councils, county councils and road boards are specially invited to attendMotion pictures shown at tho conference will ho on view, in Christchurch later on. A preliminary Town Planning Conference wil bo opened in the City Council Chambers at 2.30 p.m. on Monday. All (pitizcns are invited to attend. Mr E. J. Rigbton has shown a keen interest ii tho town planning exhibition. He has arranged for the New Zealand Picture Supplies, Ltd., of which he ip. managing director, to place at the disposal of the local committee tho biogranh film that was recently shown at {lie Dominion Conference at Wellington, for display in Christchurch, and to allow the film to be screened at Liberty Theatre free to the public, provided 'the Departments of Internal Affairs and Public Health place no obstacles in the way. ,
