Conference, which was set up to consider a Town Planning Bill, has made the following suggestions, which wre adopted by the conference:—That the principles of town planning be applied to New Zealand, and that town planning schemes he prepared wit ionr, delay ; that a Town Planning and Housing Act is necessary; that a Dep.i;(ment be established and an exp >ri town planner be appointed to have the supervision of the town planning sell vnes.
