Great demonstrations thronged the Wilhelmstrasse on Monday, denouncing President Wilson and M. Clemcuoeau as robbers and traitors. A speaker declared that Germany’s confidence in President Wilson was utterly broken. Dr Scheidemann addressed the demonstrators, and then soldiers cleared tlia streets.
