IMra J. Johnson, of 100, Waltham lload, has received advico that her oldest son, Gunner Frederick H. Johnson, is returning to Now Zealand on the I’aparoa. Gunner Johnson left with the 'Ninth Reinforcements. In connection with the arrival of the soldiers who returned by tho Rafauga. this morning, tho following wire has been sent to tho Minister of Defence from the Canterbury Automobile Association;—“Re Returned Soldiers ex Raranga.—The first information received by this association of their arrival in Lyttelton to-day was 4.10 p.m, yesterday. Your telegram from Wellington, handed in at 9.43 last night, too late to advertise for cars to meet the men, although the evening papers had the news in their early editions. Why should this association bo treated in this way after your promise that information should be sent at once direct to usP 7 ’
