SERIOUS SHORTAGE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association, (Receiver March 8, 10;4S a.m.) PARIS, March 6. The Committee of Ten is considering the conditions under, which Austro* Hungary will he supplied with food. It is reported that the present supply is inadequate, causing an increasing men* ace of Bolshevism. The difficulties are largely due to tho fact that the only available way to Austria is through the Brenner Pass. As a result of Jugo-Slav-Italian incidents the Brenner Pass was recently closed, and Vienna waa without food supplies for some days.
