RED CROSS APPEAL.
Theßed Cross Society appeals to all those interested in the happiness of the wounded men for assistance in the matter of providing materials for games for the Queen Mary Hospital. Hanmer. Donations of any of the following will be (gratefully received at the Central .Depot, t 223, Manchester Street;— Golf clubs and balls, tennis racquets and balls, cricket balls, playing cards, sets of draughts, chess and dominoes. The Commandant also asks for two secondhand bicycles, for the men’s use, and also suggests that a pianola would be a much-appreciated gift for the. winter evenings. .1
