/ In a report to the Technical College Board last, night, the director (Mr J. H. Howell) stated that ho had recently had repeated to him statements tihait bad been made regarding the college and its work and the attitude of parents and pupils. As these bad been reported to him in confidence, ho was not at liberty to deal with them in a report to the open board, but in view of the remark mado by one member at the last board meeting, ho trusted ho wmiild bo allowed the privilege of bringing them before the board in committee. The board went into committee, and on resuming the chairman stated that the board had considered the clause and had nothing to report.
