This morning the .Minister of Education visited -Now Brighton in company with Mr Isitt and I)r Thacker to confer regarding iliei school requirements there. Mr Hainan informed the committee that ho had been asked to meet the Education Board in the afternoon, and he would discuss New Brighton matters with the board. A compliment to Lord Liverpool's powers of impromptu speech was paid by Mr L. M, Isitt last night after an exchange of compliments between his Excellency and the members of Parliament present. Mr Isitt said that Ins Excellency had nothing to apologise for m the matter of aptitude on Impromptu occasions. Ho had observed his Excellency frequently, and he could state that nobody else had a happier or easier style of fulfilling ins duties as a speaker at the various functions 1m
