LEAGUE OF NATIONS.
PRESIDENT WILSON CRITICISED. NEf YORK, March -1. The general consensus of the editorial opinion of tho newspapers is one of disappointment at President Wilson's League of Nations speech. They point out that tho President failed to 'explain what tho league is hut confined his remarks to generalisations, idealistic expressions and appeals for support, also warnings to his opponents, but that ho said nothing to .elucidate the actual plan of- working the proposed league or its constitution.
