WEDDING.
ARCHIBALD—CAMPION
Yesterday afternoon at St Paul's Church, the Rev J. Paterson officiating, Mr Alexander Jack Archibald, Beckenham, was married to Aliss Lilian Aluriel Campion, third daughter of Air AV. Campion, Spreydon. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a lovely gown of white ohiffon taffetas
and georgettes. The bodice was draped with Honiton lace. The square-cut train, which fell from the shoulders, was lined with eggshell-blue crepe do chine, and her tulle veil, which fell from a coronet of orange blossoms, was edged with blue. She carried a stieaf of lilies instead of the orthodox shower bouquet. The chief bridesmaid was Hiss Mary Campion, who wore a shell-pink chiffon taffetas frock with champagnecoloured ninon sleeves and embroideries in pink and blue. Her hat was comprised of gold lace and black velvet, and had a single pink rose in front. She carried a pink bouquet of roses. Miss Lilian Archibald wore mauve chiffon taffetas and a blnok hat trimmed with a mauve rose, and she carried mauve asters. Little Phyllis Campion also accompanied the bride. She wore pale blue crepe de chine embroidered in pink and mauve, and a black hat lined with blue, and carried an Early Victorian posy of blue flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Messrs Arnold Panne'l and "Wilton Trwin. After the ceremony a reception was held at Broadway’s, where the tables were decorated with pa-e pink single roses in crystal vases. The "guests includedMr and Mrs Archibald, Mr and Airs Herbert, Air and Mrs I. Campion, Air and Airs S Campion, Airs Spence, Airs Carder, Nurse Roger, Miss Carleton and Mrs Peters. Air and Airs Alexander Archibald have gone to the North Island for their honeymoon. Tim bride’s travelling costume was of fawn gabardine with which was worn a black velvet picture hat,
