SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
The V haronni School Committee met or. "Wednesday evening; present—Mv T. Usherheld (chairman), Mrs White, Messrs Singleton, M’Leon, Wilson, Staple* and Bates. The chairman reported that tho Education Board's staff would sta.it very shortly the election of the two additional classrooms, which would relieve the present very unhealthy congestion, the attendance at present constituting a record. The Visiting Committee noted with satisfaction an improvement in the state o! the building? and grounds. The arrangements for the annual school picnic at Xow Brighton wore reported to be well forward, tho public subscriptions being well above ;b" estimate. Pioliminararrangements were made {or Mr Menusov's conceit on March IS in aid oi ill,- sein'd heating and improvement tnmle.
