RAILWAYMEN’S WAGES.
: (Special to ‘‘Star.”) WELLINGTON, March, 6. The schedule,of wage demands placed before the Minister of Railways by the executive council of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants shows that the society seeks to make permanent the war bonuses granted bn two occasions by the Railway Department. The society has also added a further request--“ That Is per day bonus be added to these rates, until there is sonic considerable ■ reduction in .-the cost of living.”
