At the conclusion of the meeting of the Lvttelten Harbour Board, held at Lyttelton yesterday, members were taken out on the tug .Lyttelton tor a. trip round the harbour. _ A brisk south-west wind was blowing, which, unfortunately, made the outing somewhat unpleasant, the effects of the swell being felt by several on board. A very exciting time was experienced at Luncheon, whilst the tug was anchored at Little Port Cooper.' The tide and wind caused the tug to roll considerably, and difficulty was experienced in keeping the.plates and dishes on the table. The climax was readied when Mr H. B. Sorensen, who was making a. brief speech, was thrown off his feet by n sudden luveh of tho tug, nml came to rest under the table, amid much amusement.
