+ SHIPYARD STRIKE TERMINATED. LONDON, February 2S. The strike leaders have terminated the strike at the north-east coast shipyards after eight weeks. They admit that the men were beaten. The strike cost the unions £200,000. THE MADRID RIOTS. • MADRID, March 2. During Friday’s troubles 200 shops were pillaged, mostly grocers and bakers. A hundred people were wounded and 268 arrested- Infantry and cavalry patrol the "streets.
