FURTHER CHARGES MADE,
ALLEGATIONS BY MR HOLLAND
[Pku Press Association.] nr KINGTON, December Mr 11- Holland, M.P., challenges Sir James Allen’s statement regarding Lif,utonanfc Orampton. H 0 alleges that tho admissions made by Lieutenant Crgifipton before tho court-martial at Bamoa wore not referred to, and he wants to know if they wero placed before Mr Hewitt, who held the inquiry, or whether they arc going to bo treated as coufidentinl. Mr Holland says: “1 want to make a further charge. Quarter-master-Sergeant Porter, the second in command at Wanganui, has been forced out of tho Defence Department by reason of his opposition to tho methods ofLieutenant Orampton at Wanganui;.:- . Tho Labour Party is determined . that Crumpton shall no removed from ,-the., position in which ho would he able .W-'-i repeat the acts ho committed at ‘Wanganui. I have a letter in my pos&fecion which indicates that cruelties wore .... being perpetrated against certain mon/' in the first week of tho month.”
