OPEN-AIR FETE.

What promises to bo a successful and enjoyable sal© of work and open-air fete is to take place next Saturday, during the afternoon and evening, at the residence of Mr W, H. Tisdall, Opawa, the proceeds of which are to go towards the St Mark’s Church funds. The stalls will include a wonderful variety of goods most suitable for Christmas gifts. There will be amusing and interesting side-shows, competitions galore, a Father Christmas for the children, and an excellent concert in the evening. The fete will be opened by his Lordship the Bishop at three o’clock in the afternoon. For months past the members of St Mark’s parish have been working assiduously for the event, which should attract, a large number of visitors.
