The New Zealand Shipping Company advisas that’-the chartered steamer, Middlehan Castle, will leave St John in January, with Canadian merchandise, for discharge at Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington, Lytr telton and Dunedin.' Captain Hempstalk, of the Monica, who has been suffering a relapse from an attack of influenza, hopes to resume commend of this vessel early next week. The Cygnet will sail on a special trip to Kaikoura this evening. It is hoped to dispatch the Oakland, which is at present loading ballast, about the end of this week. The Ruapehu is expected to leave London about the end of the month, and the Hotorakfv early next month, for New Zealand ports. ' It is probable that the American schooner Mindoro will leave for, Lyttelton under toW by the Wellington tug Pelican. The Alexander is due in port to-day, and should be ready to sail this evening for Nelson. Westport and Qroymouth. The Koiapoi, which arrived at Melbourne on Sunday from Greymouth, is to load at that port for Lyttelton, via Bluff and Dunedin, early next month. _ The Wootton will be dispatched for Wellington this evening, and should be bacs in port again about the end of the week The Corinna, from Dunedin and Timaru, la due here on Friday to load for Nelson and New Plymouth.
