:——4 • PROGRESSIVE DOUBLES. BECKENHAM CLUB. A progressive doubles tournament was held at tic Beckenham Club’s green yesterday. Chegwin and Bott tieing for the skip's prize.' In the play-off Chegwin won. The load's prize was won by Peek. CANTERBURY CLUB. A progressive doubles 'tournament was played, at the Canterbury green yesterday, when thirty-two players took part. The following were the principal skips’ scores :--Finnegan 6 wins, Ikmay.no, Hayward and Halliburton each 4J wins. For the leads Davis scored 5 wins, and Holland and Wood 4J each. Six games were played, throe of ten, and three of 'eleven' heads. SYDENHAM CLUB. A progressive doubles tournament at the Sydenham Club's erten was contested by fourteen pairs, in', six rounds. The skip’s prize was won by Garth with five wins, the load’s prize being won by Cooper, five wins and a. draw. CLUB MATCHES. PAPAKUX CLUB.
