PURSUANT to Section 18 of the Public Health Act, 1908, and tbs special powers conferrocl on mo by His Excellency the Gover-nor-General thereunder, I, HERBERT CHESSON, District Health Officer, hereby require that all HOTEL BARS, BARS OP CHARTERED CLUBS, BREWERIES, WINE AND SPIRIT BUSINESSES, within the Cantorhury-Wcstland Health District, be CLOSED forthwith and until further notice; end also that all MARBLE BARS, REFRESHMENT ROOMS AND TEA ROOMS bo CLOSED except during (ho following houja;— 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. 12 noon to 2 p.m. 6 n.m. to 7 p.m. Dated at Christchurch, this 19th day of November, 1918.
