The committee decided that another week-night entertainment b, 0 ' given owing to various difficulties, but it/was felt that the public would appreciate-an evening devoted wholly to choir and orchestral items, especially as some of the works rehearsed had noc yet been given, ow“g to the j en Kth of the programmes ou both nights. It has been decided, therefore, to give a grand sacred ooncert in the Colosseum to-morrow night. 1 In addition to the choral works to be presented, Private Harry Larsen, of tho Treutham Band, recognised as the finest exponent of the slide • trombone in Australasia, will play “0 Rest in the Lord, being accompanied by the tull orchestra. Attention is drawn to an advertisement appearing in another column regarding admission. It may be mentioned that the traffic manager of the tramways has promised to have extra cars available at the usual timetable departure., '
