It was decided to comply with tho request of the deputation, and preliminary arrangements for the work ware made. In connection with the campaign for National Prohibition on the'basis of the Efficiency Board's recommendations, it was arranged that afternoon meetings should be held at the -Art Gallery on October 2," and ai Tennyson Street on October 3, :both/to be addressed by .the Dominion president, Mrs Don. Yesterday afternoon the scholars and staff of the Sumner Bdrough School met to say an revoir to Miss 6. Brown, who for nearly four years has been acting first assistant., Miis Brown, who was accorded an ovation, was'presented with a silver entree dish and vase by the scholars and staff, and also with a silver vase by the b'oys of her room, Master Dick making a neat speech for tho occasion.
