A concert under the direction of Miss Claridge was given by the children of St James’s Sunday School in the Town Hall, I .ewer Riccarton, on Tuesday last. Songs were rendered by Miss D. Philpott, I. Christian and Master E. Christian; recitations by Misses K. Whitta, J. Harris. Scoutmaster Frogatfc and Masters B. Munro, Munsey, J. Calvert and E. Milne; piano duet, Masters R. and L. Jarman and piano solos Masters Lnramis and H. Brook. Mias Harris and Master A. Eaton gave a dialogue with appropriate stage and musical effects, assisted by Mrs Gray and -Miss Claridge. Mr Brook contributed a, violin solo, the St. Michael’s Scouts Band rendered items, and the local Scouts an interesting dialogue.
