PRICE OF FLOUR.

NO INCREASE.

[Per Press Association,]

WELLINGTON, August 29

■ Replying, to a question about a rumoured rise of £2 per ton in the price of flour, the. Hon W. D. S. Mac Donald said that the report was unfounded. Millers had agreed with tho Board of Trade not to apply for an .increase of tho price of £ls 10s at southern ports until February 1, 1919, so long as wheat remained at the present gazetted price. Tho Australian wheat now being, imported did not affect the price of flour, as it was being sold to millers at. the same price as New Zealand-grown wheat.
