EXTENSIVE FIRE.
♦- PIPE AND TILE WORKS. [Per Press Association.] TIMAIUI, August 30. The.Christchurch Pipe and Tile Company’s works at Tenuika, were almost, totally destroyed by fire last, niMit, only one 'Uncompleted building escaping. The insurances are not” known here. The damage is estimated at, £IO,OOO. Tho works were -apparently safe when inspected at 10.30 p.m. The lire occurred about midnight and the origin is a mystery.
