SUPREME COURT.
IN CHAMBERS. Mr Justice Hcrdmau presided at a chamber sitting of the Supreme Court to-day. t An application on behalf of Stella Annie Ayres (Mr Hoban) against James Roderick Ayres, for decree absolute and custody of children, was grantedIn the divorce action, Snook v. Snook, a motion for decree absolute and permanent custody 'of children, his Honor made an order in terms of the application. Mr Taylor appeared on behalf of the petitioner. An order was also made on a siniilar application in divorce in Dvhrberg v Hyhrberg, Mr Taylor for petitioner. In the King v. Mary Ann Duckworth and others, a summons to set aside the writ, was struck out, plaintiff (for whom Mr Raymond, K.C., appeared) being allowed £2 2s costs and disbursements.
In James K. Thompson and another (Mr Bates) v. Beatrice M. Cox and others (Mr Malley and Mr Beswick) the Public Trustee was appointed receiver.
A petition to raise certain money by mortgage in the deceased estate of Alived Joseph .."White granted. Mr Fryer appeared in support.
