LONDON, August 28. The Board of Agriculture reports that the arable area in England is 12.400.000 acres, an increase of 1.150.000 acres compared with 1917, and a record for twenty years. The wheat acreage increased 'by 038,000 acres, oats by 23 per cent, and potatoes by 25 per cent.
