HANDLING PETROL

NEW REGULATIONS. (Special to “Star.”) t WELLINGTON, August 29. The Government has decided to adopt regulations submitted by the Hon T. M. Milford, Minister of Marine, for tlio safe handling of petrol and similar inflammable oils at the wharves in Now Zealand. A recent fire in Wellington, when a vessel was destroyed, no doubt facilitated the completion of the regulations, but they had been under consideration for some weeks before this sensational blaze.
