A CONCRETE SHIP.
TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND. Dll THACKER. SUGGESTS A TOUR. Some interest Ims been aroused by the statement, that the s.s. Faith, the nrst American concrete .steamer, will m all probability visit New Zealand. 1 bo construction of concrete ships Ims been one of the most surprising and enterprising developments of war conditions, and an opportunity .of seeing ono in Now- Zealand waters would be union appreciated. Hr Thacker, M.P., has sent the following telegram to the. Minister of Marine:—
I notice that a. concrete ship is coming to a New Zealand port. It would he most desirable to send her on a tour of the large ports of tho Dominion, as an exhibition of war efficiency. ’
