Replying to tho Norwegian Government’s protest, Germany oilers compensation whenever it is'proved that a Norwegian ship has been torpedoed without ivnrnmg outside the danger zone. Norwegian newspapers point) out that Germany is bound to givo compensation in any case, but money oannot_ compensate fur seamen’s lives and ships. Norway must demand Gorman ships and compensation for dead seamen’s families.
