SPECIAL ORDER. | '[\TOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the New Brighton Borough hold on Mondav. tho ‘29th day of July ms, the following RESOLUTION'was passed, and will bo submitted fov confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to bo ijcld on Monday, the 26th day of August, 1018, at 7.30 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Hawke Street, New Brighton: That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 16 (e) of tho Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913, and with tho consent of the Ratepayers of tho Esplanade and Fleming Street Special Rating Area, situated in the New Brighton Borough, hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the Ratepayers of the said Special Eating Area, the capital value of whoso properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the Borough of Now Brighton is collectively greater than tho capital values of the properties of the Ratepayers who did not so consent, tho Now Brighton Borough Council hereby resolves by wav of Special Order as follows: For tho purpose of Forming, Metalling and Kerbing on the Esplanade and Fleming ] Street, tho New Brighton Borough Council hereby authorises the raising of a Loan of £3OO, such loan to bear interest at the rate ot 41 per centum pc: annum tor a period of years, and declares that tho cost, of raising the said lean and tho first year’s interest on tho said loan shall bo payable out of the moneys so raised. , Esplanade and Fleming Street Special Eating Area:—Commencing at a point on the northern boundary of Bowhill Road, being the northern boundary of Lot 6, D.P. 3511, thence northerly ,to the southern boundary of Lot 4, thence westerly and northerly along and western boundaries of Lots 4, 3, 2 and 1 of tho same plan, and in m direct lino across Osborne Terraco to tho southern boundary of Lot 7, thence easterly and northerly across Swann Street, and along the western boundaries of Lots 2o and 21 and part of Lot 23, D.P.
