As the jury’s verdict in the motor collision case, White v. Corrigan, was r.ot given until after one o’clock this morning, application for judgment to be entered in favour of plaintiff was hold over until the Court met at 10.30 o’clock for to-dayV proceedings. This course had been made necessary owing to the indisposition of Mr S. G. Raymond, K. 0., leading counsel for defendant who. by leave of the Court, was permitted to retire after delivering his address last night. When the Court, met to-day. Mr F. Johnston, counsel for plaintiff, stated that in the absence of Mr Raymond he would postpone the application for judgment. His Honor consented, and agreed to have the matter brought, before him to-morrow, provided Mr Raymond was well enough to attend.
