PROTESTANT POITICAL ASSOCIATION.
[Per Press Association.] AA'ELLINGTON, April 24. The Dominion Conference of the. Protestant Political Association to-day elected tiie following olliccrs:—President, Air A. Donald; vice-presidents, Messrs J. A. Hay and E. AL Gregor and Alajor Johnston; secretary, Air H. S. Bilby ; treasurer, Air S. Aston; national lecturer, Rev Howard Elliott; committee, the Hon AV. Eariuhaw, the Rev Knowles Smith, Alcssrs J. Aliddeton, J. Aston and J. 8. Dickson, ALP.; auditors, Alvssrs E. C. Ludwig and J. Kcllow and Son. The conference passed resolutions today expressing confidence in Sir Edward Carson as leader of Ulster; sympathising with Ulstermen in their struggle for liberty and loyalty; expressing satisfaction that the British Parliament had applied conscription to Ireland and trusting .that the opposition of the Roman Catholic hierarchy and Sinn Fein organisation would not deter the Government, fulfilling its duty to loyalists throughout the Empire.
