TURKEY’S PLIGHT.
ARMY DEMORALISED. Absence of German Assistance,
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association, (Received April 11, 11,45 a.m.) AMSTERDAM. April 11. It is reported from Constantinople that tho ’Turkish Army consists of Rendered and demoralised remnants, and that it is impossible to renconstituto many of the depleted units. There are numerous officers in Constantinople .without commands. No German assistance has been received for a considerable time.
