SUDDEN DEATHS

An inquest touching the death of Vfilliam Fyke, who died suddenly in ;i riglu-01-wiiv leading to his furniture lactory in Kilmorc Street, at about Imll-pasfc utiu yesterday. was held at the Hospital tiiis morning, before Alr T. A. B. Bailey, Coroner. Edward William fyke, son of the deceased, said his father had enjoyed good health. 'Witness had never heard him complain. Witness last saw bis lather ahve on Tuesday evening. At 1.30 p.m. yesterday he was told that his father had taken a (it outside tho factory. Dr Lester said that at about 1.-Fi p.m. yesterday bo was called to Iviimore Street. He, found deceased lying on his bade. Deceased was dead when witness arrived. From the appearance of the deceased witness considered it ■probable that death was due to heart Failure, probably the result of oldstanding heart, disease. Deceased shoved signs of marked arterial degeneration. Harry AJelion Johnson, woodwork instructor, residing at 00. Winchester Street. .V.erivale, said he had known deceased for thirty years. Witness had m ver heard him complain Yesterday witness went to deceased’s shop at 1.20 p.m. on business. Witness and deceased then eycled round in the factory in ivilmore Street together. Thev dismounted at the gates and proceeded to walk towards the factory, hut they had only gone about four yards alien deceased suddenly staggered and fell forward on bis lace Witness called for iUr Pyke, .inn., who was in the factory, and together (hey turned deceased on his hack. Dr I,ester was sent for and arrives.! in about ten minutes. A verdict was returned that death was due In heart failure.
