Official Claims.
LONDON. April S (9.45 p.m.) A wireless Gorman official message -ays:—Troops advancing on tbo eastern border of Coney Wood and via Barisis stormed a hill north-east of Folembray and advanced as far as Vernenil. The prisoners now total l 2000. A wireless German official message says:—We drove out tho enemy from -trong posotions on heights eastward of Couc-y lo Chatfeau. AMSTERDAM, April 8. Frontier reports stats that the whole of Brussels has been converted into a large hospital for German wounded. Trainloads are arriving hourly. Scores of trains laden with corpses passed through Antwerp for Germany. Nobody was permitted in the vicinity of the stations while the gruesome caravans were passing.
