BOLO’S FATE.
RESTS WITH PRESIDENT.
Final Court Rejects Appeal.
Australian and 17.Z Cabla Association. (Received April 8, 8.10 a.m.) LONDON, April 7. The Exchange Telegraph Agency states that the liual Court has refused to revise Bolo’s sentence. His fate now rests with President Poincare. (Paul 8010 began life at Marseilles as a lobster merchant. Subsequently ho travelled in Communion wine and champagne, and later had an adventurous career in South America, whore he married bis lirst wife, from whom he separated. Later he higamously married a Bordeaux heiress, bought, a' villa at Biarritz, and became a ’figure, in the social and financial world of Paris. He was created a pasha- by the. ex-Khedive, with whom he is alleged to have engaged in pro-Gorman intrigues. Early in the war he wont to Now York, where he received over £400,000 through the Deutsche Bank, with part of which ho bought an interest in the Paris “Journal.'’ He was alleged to be one of the principal agents of German corruption in France. He was arrested on September 20, and was sentenced to death for treason.)
