[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 5. Mr Massey has received the following ■ telegram from officers of the union in ; connection with the strike at the State mine ■ “Dispute settled. Men resuming J- work on Monday. Pa pa roa dispute tho- ! roughly investigated yesterday by the ; ; Commissioner and Federation represon- ' tativos. Your Commissioner has forwarded certain proposals to the directors and yourself, which we endorse. Extension of time is necessary to get their decision.” The. message is signed by Messrs Coppersmith and Sample.
