(Received December 17, 10.50 a.m.) LOVDON, December 18. Sir Douglas Haig reports:We completely repulsed a local attack eastward of Bullecourt. 'We made, a successful raid northward of Bullecourt. Local fighting in the neighbourhood oj Poldersboek Chateau caused no change in tilio -situation thereabouts. There is considerable artillery activity in Ihe neighbourhood of Haggiconrt and Flesqnicres, between Oavielle and Lens and at Passchendaele. A FRENCH REPORT. A French communique says:— A Oerman attack was repulsed in Chan me Wood.
