An enjoyable afternoon was spent on ih* Paparua courts nt the Hornby Recreation grounds on Saturday when teams from the St Andrew's and Paparua Tennis, CJubs met in a-friendly match resulting in a win for the home team by 32 games. Ta.it and' Miss Taylor lost to A. Spicer and Mrs May, 5-6; I. Sinclair and Miss Tail lost' to A. C. Truman and Miss M'Mieekan, 3-6; I. Gunn and Miss Martin lost to A. C. Bowbyes and Miss Gabbatis, 5-6. Men's Singles—G. Pottinsrer lost to G. M'Xally, 4-6; J. Tait lost to A. Spicer, 4-6: I. Sinclair beat A. C. Trunian, 6-3; I. Guna lost to A. C. Bowbyes, 1-6.
