BARBARITIES IN PALESTINE. JEWS TORTURED AND EXECUTED Router's Telegrams. (Received November 26, 8.35 a.m.) lONDON. November 25. Refugees who have arrived at Alexandria bring further stories of terrible Turco-German atrocities upon the Jews. Last, month all the leading Jews of Jaffa were accused of espionage, and on the strength of false evidence or evidence extorted under torture, they were convicted by a German court-martial, and hanged, with members of their families, m the presence of German officers. Men and women vcpre publicly beaten in order to extort confessions.
The lower classes are taking advantage of the evil plight of the Jews, and are blackmailing and robbing them.
