VEXTCE BOMBED. PROMPT IT ALIA X REPRISAL. POME, August 15. A group of enemy aeroplane? bombed Venice at daybreak on Tuesday. A bomb fell on a hospital, killing two and wounding ttvemy-ono patients. The material damage was 'slight. Antiaircraft guns shot down several of the raiders. An Italian air squadron immediately earned out reprisals, successfully bombarding the enemy's coost- and a group of Austrian destroyers. The machines returned safely. LONDON, August 10. in .Austrian official wireless n:c-s----iag6 says:— As a reprisal for the serial attack on Fo!i numerous aeroplanes attacked! the maritime arsenal at Venice and successfully dropped four tons of bombs.
