Tho wolfram yield was 115 tons, valued at £18,4-13. compared to 128J tons, valued iifc £19.805. In the second quarter of last year 32 tons of molybdenito way produced, the value beincr £13,300. as against 2G tons, value.! at £11,484. The whole of tho production of this rare metal was in the Chillagoe district. It is stated that Queensland is 'the biggest producer in the •world of molybdenito and wolfram. Tho quantity of silver won from Queensland mines ivas 55.9420z. valued at £9052. compared with 32,5440z, valued at £4373.
