It is reported in local shipping circles (says the " Post") that the Wellington Steamship Crmpany, which recently purchased the coastal steamer Huia, has iust acquired the Ftcamer Baden Powell from the Northern Coal Company of Auckland. The vessel is at prepcnt under overhaul at Auckland. The Bnden Powell will, it is said, run between Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Lyttelton. 'She was formerly owned in Wellington, and ran coal along the ccast from Punmiga and other ports.
