The Miners' Federation Conference passed a resolution in favour of the nationalisation of mines, old age pensions of 10s weekly (to sexagenarians, immediate steps to secure adequate housing, an eight hour day in coal mines, and better pensions for disabled soldiers, sailors and tho dependents of the fallen.
