AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. At an early hour last evening His Majesty's Theatre was crowded, when the Fuller management, repeated the programmme presented for the first time on The Walter Johnson Revue, Company were again very successful in " Tho Railway Tangle," and the various ballets and catchy songs and choruses were heartily applauded, many of the : rti.sts being recalled. The Togns, Japanese balancers, repeated their ehnor turn, concluding with a sensational '' slide for life " on a, rope stretched from the ceiling to the stage. Popular favour was liberally bestowed on the Molinaris for their operatic unci ballad numbers, and Tim and Gertie Moore were also successful with their humorous items. The programme wili be repeated to-night. THEATRE ROYAL The Theatre Royal was crowded at an early hour last evening, when the J. C. Williamson pantomimo, '' The House that Jack Built," was again presented. The pantomime will be repeated this evening, when the extended season in Christchurch will he brought to a close. "BATTLE OF THE AXCRE." There were largr- attendances at the King's Theatre yesterday afternoon and evening, when the films depicting the battle ot' the Ancre were again screened by the Y.M.G'.A. management. The films will be shown for the last time this evening. ROLLER SKATING. The Colosseum Skating Rink was again well attended yesterday, especially at the night session, when a pleasing programme of music was contributed by Dunn's Band. Thy rink will he open at tho usual hours to-day. The first of the attractions of the season will tako place to-morrow night, when a polo match on skates will be played between teams representing the Post Office and the Colosseum.
