POTTS'S ESTATE, GOVERNOR'S RAY. Messrs H. Matson and Co. offered at auction to-day at their land auction rooms tho properties of the late Mr William Cook, at Governor's Rav, known as the Potts' estate. Quite w large area of the land under offer had been planted in orchards and cherry gardens, and the warm, sheltered climate of Governor's Bay had the effect of bringing together several orchardists and a largo gathering of tho general public. The whole of the property was disposed of at a'uetion, as inllows: —23 acres, tho homestead site, on the sea front, with orchard, etc., to Mr A. J. Blackmoro. Shirley, at £59 per aero; 25 acres of orchard spur adjoining, on tho northern side, to tho same buyer, at £-if> 'los per aero; 84 acres, N tho southernmost portion of tho front sections, sa.nu> buyer, at £3B 10s per aero; 322 acres, running back to the scenic re,servo on Summit Road, to Mr James Power, at £7 'los per aero; 130 acres, including tho school paddock and adjoining subdivision into building sections, to Mr Arthur Wake!in, at £l7 10a per aero, and portion of the Kain'a 1!ill Estate, of 81 acres, at Teddington, to -Mr Jamas Dundy, at £lO por acre. SHIPLEY PARK SUBDIVISION. Messrs Craddoek,' M'Crostio Co., Ltd., offered at their land sale rooms to-day twenty allotments in " Shirley Park." Shirley, at the'corner of tho Canal Reserve and Shirley Road. The sections ranged from 1 aero 3 roods to 2 acres 2 roods 27 perches.
