DISTURBANOE IN PACIFIC. TIDAL WAVES IN SAMOAN AND FRIENDLY GROUPS. By Telegraph— "Pitta Association—CopjnigM. SUVA, July 10. An earthquake and tidal wave occurred in the Samoa Group. They wero tho severest on record. The Friendly Group experienced an earthquake. At Hapai there wore three waves fourteen feet high. No material damage was done. Keppel Island suffered most. Many Native houses were destroyed and a concrete wharf carried away. There were no fatalities. Tho shock was not felt at Niua-fu.
