SCOTLAND FOR EVER.

TO TItK EDITOR. gj rj —Bearing out the conceit of our country, which you have been telling us much about lately, may I. say that I think very little of "Punch's" picture reproduced in Monday's " Star"a kiltie scoring out England and writing in Great Britain. If I had hqen the artist I would have shown the Emperor on a large hoading strafing England, a squad of Gordon Highlanders looking at it, one of them saying, "It's Aveel for ye, Willie, my lad, 'at ye didna straf his (us), though ye hao a drap o' the bluid yersell."—l am. etc., A NATIVE OF ABERDEENSHIRE.
