GREAT RUSSIAN SUCCESS. 7000 MEN AND 48 GUNS CAPTURED. The High Commissioner reports:— LONDON, July 9 (3.10 p.m.). A Russian official message says:— Westward of Stam'slau on Sunday Seneral Genttornilloff captured several rillages, 131 officers, 7000 men, 48 guns, including twelve heavies, and many Tjachine-guns. BRUSILOFFS .ADVANCE. * ■> .RIBLE GERMAN'LOSSES. Anßtralian and N.Z. Oablo Association. (Received July 10, 2.30 p.m.) PETROGRAD, July 9. A semi-official messags says:— "We heavily repulsed desperate German counter-attacks with the object of stopping General Brusiloff's enveloping movement upon Brzezany. We «*wccpte<i a German wireless message admitting terrible losses. Three reserve divisions were cut up, and many 1/attalions were wiped out. The greatest importance is attached 2o Brusiloff's advauco.
THE GERMAN VERSION. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association Mid Router. (Received Julv 10, 5.43 a.m.) LONDON, July 9. A wireless German official message says:—The Russians are reattaching Stanislau and havo gained ground.
