A gentleman who called at Die oflice yesterday mentioned bo mo rather remarkable coincidences in connection with two families in Ohristeluroh. Forty years ago Mr and Mra Raddon. and Mr and Mrs Handisides were passengers to New Zealand by the sarao vessel, the Northern Monarch. Homo years afterwards the first, persons to enter the house of tho latter on the deatli of their first child were Mr and Mrs Raddon; two years ago Mr Handisides died, and again the earliest visitors there were Mr and Mrs Raddon. and last week tho iirst to enter the bereaved house after the news was received of the death of Trooper I>. Handisides were Mr hikl Mrs Raddon. In none of the three instancies' were the visitors aw-are of the , heieavemems when they entered tho dwelling,.
